Twitter is a great idea. I joined, but didn't really get started; thanks for the reminder. Was the antique/colllectibles event successful? Here in the Chicago area, events can get rather costly, $150 and up. Do any of you participant in many of these events often?

It was a break even for me.. I really need to get my silversmith talents down and create a line of jewelry from my stones. Very hard to set up and sell just gemstones.
It was an excellent event though..
They are doing two instead of just one next year.. I will attend both !

You're right. I noticed that "hammered" jewelry is popular this fall. Did you take a class to learn silversmith designs?

No, I am teaching myself.. Although I get all the information/tutorials a guy could want via my forum. I also did have a member from our local rock and mineral club come over a couple of times to help me too... That was a big help.
