About Me

My name is Gigi and I design and make Jewelry. I got into creating when I was younger. My first go at it was making Macrame bracelets. Now I am much more experienced and make jewelry out of the most Semi Precious Stones I can find.

How many years have you been designing jewelry?

I have been designing jewelry for about 4 solid years now.

BeadWorks in White Plains, but I love going to the city and Gem Shows.

Did you go to school to learn jewelry design?

I never went to school to design.

I have been a busy lady.....

So sorry to all of you for not posting a blog to let you all know how my show went...

Well I have to report that the weather was not agreeable and therefore my show was not a big success. I did make some money, but if the weather was nicer I would have done much better. I did however get a bunch of custom orders! (Which is why I haven't posted this blog earlier, I have been filling these)

My First Flea Market/Craft Show

I am having my very first Flea Market Sale ever!

I will be at the Richard Presser Park/Webb Field on Saturday, May 3rd. Rain date Sunday, May 4th.

Webb Field is located on Central Park Avenue in Hartsdale, NY.

More On Me.

Up until 2005 I gave away my creations as gifts, to so many of my friends. They would all tell me that I was nuts and needed to start a little business and do this to supplement my income. After contemplating and getting enough courage to start in this venture, I decided to put my all into it and see where it would take me.

I will try to explain what UTEE is in my bad engl. spelling. I hope you will understand. I use special white powder who i melt in the melting pot and then i dip my polymer clay pearl and tey get a skin i think it is plastik it feel like it i not sure. I still trying to figure it out. You can do lots of things but i cant find something on the net about it i would like to learn more about the technique . For the moment i have to do experiments.

I have just noticed over the last two years of doing a lot of surfing on the web, that Estsy has a huge following...I'm thinking that they must be getting huge exposure and must be doing something right...where I am now, for two years, I've only had 3 bites and no sales. All my sales are from Friends, Family, Neighbors and parties and craft shows that I have from time to time, but those are a lot of work. I keep it only as a online portfolio of my inventory, but I will be closing it down in July. Thanks for clueing me in! Blessings.
