- About Me
- MAKING JEWELRY is therapeutic for me. I was inspired by my grandmothers spirit, strength, love and devotion to her family. She molded me into this loving, free spirited woman I am today and I loved her for that. She always taught my sister and me to be ourself and to be creative. ....When she passed, I was empty. She was my anchor. If no one loved me, she did. That's when I started to bead. It's funny that I developed an interest in beading; No one else in my family makes jewelry. Nevertheless, I am doing it because it makes me feel good to put my energy to work in ways you can only imagine. Until you actually see people wearing your art, only then can you understand the fullness I feel. It is a feeling I have never felt before. I see my grandmother in every piece I make, her energy, her love and her spirit. ...I AM forever grateful...

I make what I am feeling in the moment of creating. I like to use materials that are imperfect and that are underrated.
