Lapidary / Gemstone Community Forum
I cut and sell gemstone cabochons and offer them at my online gemstone store. I also have a WordPress blog and the entries to that blog are also forwarded by way of a utility program to my blog within the Ganoksin Blogging Network.
My Lapidary / Gemstone Community forum is a community forum for members from every imaginable gemstone related niche to gather. Sharing a great many topics. Generally beginning with discoveries of various minerals, cutting, shaping and finishing cabochons right on up to and including the designing of jewelry and other gemstone related artwork.
Many of those same members also participate in my Lapidary Community WebRing.I also have a few lenses within the Squidoo community. My primary Squidoo lens is similar to the others. Jewelry design and gemstone related.
I am listed within the Linkedin professional network
I am a member of one other Ning Network called Hands On Heaven.
I am a member of the MySpace Network
Created the Spokane Area Social Network For Art, and Crafts Related Artists.

- Yes.. Steel and Stone Jewelry Design
The first piece I made was an attempt to make something similar to his designs.

Just added 50 plus semiprecious gemstone cabochons to my store inventory.. Everything imaginable !
Just finished up adding another 50 plus stones to the store.. Everything imaginable.. Freeforms, matched pairs, matched multi stone sets, necklace / bracelet matching sets, pendant / earring matching sets, and much more..

Marked them down between one and three dollars each.. Maybe someone can use them ?

- Got the slab, boy is it beautiful!!!! It is exactly what I have been looking for for years!!! I will send you a pic of the stone I cut out of similer material soon as I can lay my hands on it. lol
Really like that Chryscollia with metalic, looks allot like the boulder opal I like to cut. Really like colors with matrix around like that!!
Got sorta of strange question for you: do you know why people have changed thier slab widths from 10mm to 1/4".. It is pretty hard to cut a large cab out of a piece that is only a 1/4"..... Just a question, figure you been in a while and maybe you figured out why so many folks have started doing this???? Other than to just make more money......
